Every Friday, one student from our class will be chosen to be the class
MVP (most valuable player) for the upcoming week. An "All About Me" poster will be given to this student to fill out with information and add photos and drawings to. Please help your child with this and return it to school on Monday. This poster will be on display in our classroom. We would love to get to know your child better!
Your family is invited to attend our class on Monday afternoon to spotlight your child. You may tell some special things about your child. You may tell about your child's favorites, likes, dis-likes, special events, honors, etc . . . You may bring items to show such as: pictures, things your child collects, trophies, ribbons etc . . . The spotlight should last about 10 - 15 minutes.
A treat is not expected, but you may bring one if you wish - our class has 24 students.
As MVP, your child will be able to help me in many ways throughout the week and enjoy special privileges given only to the most responsible of children.
Thank you for supporting your child and helping them to be a valuable player on our first-grade team!
